The Super Bowl marks the end of the NFL football season, but Quick 6 Football is ramping up their 2018 season in Concord! The premier 7-on-7 football tournament features top high school football players ages 14-18 throughout California, providing them an exciting opportunity to show off their skillset.
Each team is guaranteed at minimum of three games during the tournament, two in pool play and at least one in bracket play (single elimination). Pool play games are 20 minute of continuous play, and bracket play runs 22 minutes on a continuous clock. Each team has a 25 player maximum, and on the field at during game play are 7 defenders and 7 offensive players. To find the complete Quick 6 Games Rules click here.
Quick 6 Football is proud of all the participating athletes, and takes great pride in watching these athletes continue their football careers. One local athlete, Najee Harris from Antioch High School, played in two Quick 6 Tournaments in 2016, and was the number one college recruit in 2017. He committed to play for the University of Alabama last year, and started his college football career playing as a freshman. Harris helped his team win the NCAA College Football Playoff National Championship on January 9, 2018.
Don’t miss out on watching these athletes showcase their skills! The “Air to the Throne” kicks off the season on Sunday, February 18th at Mt. Diablo High School in Concord. It is first of four qualifiers for the final Quick6 Golden Great 7-on-7 Championship held on April 22nd at the College of San Francisco. The third qualifying event will be held on Sunday, March 25th at Mt. Diablo High School.
