Groups on the Go: How Concord Caters to Organizations Away from Home

Posted by Visit Concord on Jul 21, 2017 3:02:27 PM

Traveling in a large group can be stressful. Between coordinating transportation, finding lodging with enough rooms in a central location and finding a place for everyone to eat, group travel has its challenges.

In Concord, we’re making things easy for groups looking for a Bay Area meeting without the San Francisco prices. Concord offers convenient access to three international airports, public transportation into San Francisco, emerging craft beer and food scenes and is located near Napa and Sonoma Valley wine country.

Arriving in Concord

Groups enjoy three airport options when traveling to Concord: San Francisco International Airport, Oakland International Airport and Mineta San Jose International Airport. Each offers public transportation and taxi service, along with Uber and Lyft pick-up areas.

Currently, JetSuiteX is the only commercial airline offering service to Concord’s Buchanan Field Airport. Every weekday, three one-way flights are offered from Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, California. Flights to Concord from Las Vegas occur once every Friday with return on Sunday.
